Help with scanning bids, ZIP coverage, purchases, and reports.

1. How Overpay Not works

Snap a photo of your contractor quote, enter your ZIP code, and we check whether we have local market data for that area. If we do, you can unlock a paid report that compares line items to local labor and material rates.

2. Free ZIP check

The free preview only counts line items and confirms ZIP coverage. It does not run a full market comparison. If we cannot read your quote or check your ZIP, you will not be charged.

3. Paid reports

Report price depends on bid size:

• Small - $2.99 for about 1-15 line items
• Medium - $6.99 for about 16-39 line items, or any bid over $15,000
• Large - $15.99 for about 40-99 line items, or any bid over $75,000

Purchases are handled through the App Store or Google Play. We do not take card payments on this website.

4. What the report is (and is not)

Your report is an indicative price comparison based on public wage indexes and local material pricing. It is not a licensed home inspection, appraisal, cost estimate by a contractor, or legal advice about a specific bid.

5. Refunds and billing

App Store and Google Play manage billing and refunds for in-app purchases. For refund requests, use the store account that completed the purchase. For product questions, email us below.

Email support [at] overpaynot [dot] com. Include your ZIP code, device type (iOS or Android), and a short description of the issue. Do not send photos of bids that contain other people's personal data unless you need us to investigate a failed scan.
