Overpay Not ("we", "us") operates overpaynot.com and the Overpay Not mobile apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the website or the apps. Contact: support [at] overpaynot [dot] com.

2. Information we collect

• Account and contact data - email address or sign-in identifiers if you create an account or contact support.
• Project inputs - ZIP code, bid photos or PDFs you upload, and line items extracted from those files.
• Purchase data - store transaction identifiers from Apple or Google. We do not receive your full card number.
• Device and usage data - app version, device type, crash logs, and basic analytics needed to run and improve the service.
• Support messages - content you send us by email.

3. How we use information

• Provide the free ZIP preview and paid bid reports.
• Call processors needed for OCR, labor indexes, and material pricing (for example AI providers, Home Depot lookup APIs, and BLS data).
• Verify purchases, prevent fraud, and provide support.
• Improve product quality and coverage by metro / ZIP.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

We process data to perform the service you request, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security, abuse prevention, and product improvement. Where consent is required, we will ask for it.

5. Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us operate the product (hosting, analytics, AI OCR, material price APIs, email). We do not sell your personal information. Apple and Google process payments under their own privacy policies. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. Retention

We keep bid images and reports only as long as needed to deliver the product, handle support, meet legal requirements, or resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete account data subject to lawful retention needs.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

8. Children

Overpay Not is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your choices

You can limit camera or photo access in device settings, contact us to correct or delete account data, and manage store purchases through Apple or Google. For California or other US state privacy rights that apply to you, email support [at] overpaynot [dot] com with the subject "Privacy request".

10. International processing

We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the service you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted in the app or on the website.
